Meet Mel
Hi! I'm a journalism and business major at the University of Florida. I love my family more than anything, especially my little sister. I was born in Cuba, and when I was 3 years old, I came to the U.S. I'm obsessed with coffee, and I love meeting new people or catching up with friends at Opus. I also love exploring new places, and some of my favorite spots in Gainesville are Sweetwater Wetlands Park, the Repurpose Project and Kanapaha Botanical Gardens.
